Restaurant critic Giles Coren and writer and comedian Sue Perkins experience the food culture of years gone by.

This tour through England's culinary history was most entertaining as Sue Perkins and Giles Coren dressed in the clothes and ate the foods from six periods: Elizabethan, Restoration, Regency, Victorian, Second World War and the 1970s. Each of the six episodes started with them getting a health check... and usually being warned that the planned diet wouldn't be very good for them. The then dressed up and took the roles of a couple living in the specific era. Much of the food looked less than appealing and such delights as boiled calf's head must have given vegetarians nightmares. The two presenters were both very entertaining, although they are clearly not taking the roles too seriously and frequently ended up quite drunk... solely for realism of course. Over the course of the week they sample various types of food from that eaten at formal occasions by the rich to that eaten by the less well off. They were frequently joined by experts on the periods concerned and would discuss the food with them explaining what class of people would eat what foods. At the end of each episode they returned to the doctor for a second check up with results that were sometimes surprising. While it is easy to laugh at what people ate in the past I'm sure that people will look back on what we ate now with equal amusement in the future. I hope that there is another series one day although I'm not sure what time periods they would cover.

Many different birds and animals have long settled on the shores of Lake Chad. One day they decided to choose a king for themselves and chose Lion. They called him the bravest, the strongest, the wisest and the most beautiful. Then a son was born to the Lion and the Lioness - a little Lion Cub. When the Lion Cub could walk by himself, he met a hyena who told the Lion Cub that he was a Lion, which means he was the king of animals, which means he was the bravest, strongest, wisest, most beautiful.

A singer struggles to dance well in rehearsal with her band. A power outage leaves her alone in the studio, reviewing her life, when a mysterious woman appears through the mirror and gives her a pair of Red Shoes. The cursed shoes dance beautifully, but endlessly. The singer is drawn irresistibly into the fey world beyond the mirror, where she must redeem three magic symbols from the mysterious woman in order to obtain release from the cursed shoes.

In a town called Pudding on the Ritz, a sly fox attempts to trick a nitwit into opening a cursed treasure chest. However, the fox's trick comes back to bite him in the end. Based on the Fractured Fairy Tales segment from Jay Ward's "The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show", this short premiered before the live-action feature "Dudley Do-Right".

A prince attempts to rescue his sister from the gods, but incurs a divine curse that dooms his bloodline. With his wife at his side, he must find a way to break the cycle of suffering before the gods reduce his legacy to ruin.
